RS2 – Living life with 11-14s

The decisions they make at this age begin to have far-reaching consequences, shaping their character and their future. They will be considering where faith and church fit in their life.
That’s why Youth for Christ believe that RS2 is such an important resource for the young people in your church. RS2 can help you engage with your 11-14 year olds and explore with them how the Christian faith is relevant to their lives.
RS2 was born out of the success of Rock Solid, YFC’s long-running 11-14s outreach programme. RS2 is ideal for those who are a step on from Rock Solid and want to deepen their understanding and relationship with Christ.
Over 5,000 11-14 year olds attend RS2 groups every week.
RS2 provides all the material you will need to run hour-long weekly sessions which are fast-moving, Bible-based, creative and inspiring. Your young people will love the fun and energy of RS2, and the material will enable them to discover a biblical perspective on issues which matter to them. RS2 sessions are flexible, adaptable and easy to use. The time you used to spend on preparation can now be spent building friendships with your young people and seeing them grow in their relationship with Jesus. RS2 is equally suitable for large and small groups, Sunday youth meetings, Friday night youth clubs or school Christian Unions.
RS2 sessions explore biblical teaching on specific themes. Activities in every meeting help your group to interact and explore the theme in an inspiring way, and illustrations enhance the Bible teaching and encourage discussion. Each session also includes a creative prayer or worship activity. Relationships are foundational to RS2, and the first ten minutes of every session are given over to relaxing with your young people and getting to know them better.
