Today we have been out as a team to the museum of slavery at the Albert Dock and we have been really challenged by it. Most shocking for me was how much of our modern life has its roots in the slave trade; even my bank HSBC, and the number of people still in slavery today all over the world.
I wonder if this should be a focus for some new lessons for 08/09.
